The Omnilux difference
The Omnilux individual treatment heads deliver the required intensities and dose proven by clinical studies and published in top scientific journals.
Unlike a number of competitor products, each Omnilux treatment head – revive2, blue and plus – contains only single wavelength LEDs specifically designed to deliver optimized intensities of light. Additionally, the LEDs are packed closely together to allow the maximum light and proven dosages to be delivered to the treatment area, eliminating zones of undertreatment common in competitive systems.
Many competitors offer treatment heads containing 2, 3 or even 4 different colored LEDs – and not closely packed. Most do not have clinical studies to support their efficacy, nor do they deliver the necessary dosages required for desired results.

Clinically proven wavelengths of monochromatic light stimulate specific cells within the body – resulting in reduction in wrinkles, hyper-pigmentation, general dyschromia of the skin, and acne lesions. Omnilux phototherapy has also been proven to stimulate blood flow and the penetration and activation of skincare products applied topically to the skin. Specific Omnilux wavelengths have been demonstrated to enhance cellular metabolism and cell permeability which allows topical actives to penetrate deeper and speed up the activation of ingredients in the skin.

Omnilux revive2™ transmits red light (633nm) for a variety of applications including skin rejuvenation / wrinkle reduction, acne (anti-inflammatory), dyschromia of the skin such as pigmentation and rosacea, and Photodynamic Therapy (PDT) for the treatment of certain non-melanoma skin cancers. Omnilux revive2 has both a rejuvenating and anti-inflammatory effect on the skin. Proven to increase cellular energy (ATP) which in turn “kick starts” cellular renewal. Omnilux blue™ transmits blue light (415nm) for the treatment of acne vulgaris and sun damage. Omnilux blue is successfully used to activate coproporhyrin III present in the P.acnes bacteria. Its versatility also allows it to be used to activate the photosensitizer 5-Aminolevulinic acid in the treatment of superficial actinic keratosis
Acne is one for the world’s most common skin conditions and results from obstruction, bacterial colonisation and inflammation of the sebaceous follicles.
One of the key bacteria responsible for the inflammation Propionibacterium acnes or P.acnes, produces natural chemicals called porphyrins, which are sensitive to light at different wavelengths.
When stimulated these chemicals will neutralise the bacteria. With no bacteria present inflammation will subside. Furthermore, the action of light on the sebaceous glands produces an environment that is inhibitory to the growth of P. acnes.

Chemical peels can benefit a wide range of skin conditions and generally the concept of peeling is often regarded as a gradual program where the client will have between 2-6 peels, depending on the type and concentration of the peel.
